Bowling Technician – Recreational Club Middle East – Qatar

Location: Recreational Club, Middle East – Qatar

Position Overview

The Bowling Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing bowling alley equipment to ensure smooth operations and an enjoyable guest experience. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on pinsetters, ball returns, scoring systems, and lane machinery.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues promptly.
• Lane Care: Maintain lane surfaces, oiling schedules, and ensure compliance with bowling standards.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all equipment operates safely and meets manufacturer and club standards.
• Inventory Management: Track spare parts, tools, and supplies; request replacements as needed.
• Customer Support: Assist staff and guests with equipment-related issues during operations.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with operations, maintenance, and recreational staff to ensure seamless service.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in bowling alley or recreational equipment maintenance.
• Knowledge of AMF, Brunswick, or QubicaAMF systems preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to handle mechanical tasks.
