Educational Requirements
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Graduate of Secondary Education (High School) or Trade Diploma
• Proficient in reading, speaking, writing, and understanding the English language.
• Basic Computer knowledge, Microsoft Office, and software applications is an advantage.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a Petrochemical Plant or Port Operation
Work Experience/Qualifications
• Dock operation and container inventory management experience is a plus.
• Demonstrate leadership and problem-solving skills
• Able to work with minimum supervision
• Proficient with PC’s and Plant Information Systems
• Excellent organization and documentation skills
• Strong data entry and analytical skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
• Physically capable of working outdoors in high-humidity conditions and high temperatures
• Physically capable of climbing ladders, climbing in and out of various vehicles (forklifts, trucks, cranes,
etc.)
• Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English (Full English Comprehension).
Job Description (but not limited to)
• Accurately record and track container movements to and from vessels and within container yards
• Perform data entry into Warehouse Management System
• Work with the Inventory Team in overall Logistics operation concerning Container Inventory
Management and Shipments.

• Prepares a full container list as per shipment priority and focal person for full containers to be loaded in
ship/vessel.
• Learn and perform the Inventory Clerk role as necessary.
• Support a working environment of empowerment that takes responsibility of personal safety and quality
of work.
• Operate Logistics operations within the culture, laws, and environment of Qatar.
• Maintain effective team communication
• Actively participate in any Q-Chem Safety Program (QSAFE, Safety Audit, Safety Campaign,
Housekeeping, etc.)
• Role models of safety and all Q-Chem and Logistics safety programs
• Promotes “Customer Satisfaction” by maintaining product quality standards and shipment schedule.
• Support Qatari Development Program
• Perform other duties as required
