Job Description: Head of Production – CP4N (Offshore Oil & Gas LNG Production)

Position Overview

The Head of Production – CP4N is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing all offshore production operations within the CP4N asset/facility. This position ensures safe, efficient, and reliable production of oil, gas, and LNG, while driving operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement across offshore teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Leadership: Direct and manage offshore production activities to meet daily, monthly, and annual targets.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure optimal performance of production systems, including wells, processing units, and LNG facilities.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to HSE standards, offshore safety regulations, and company policies.
• Strategic Planning: Develop production strategies aligned with corporate objectives and asset development plans.
• Team Management: Lead multidisciplinary production teams, mentor supervisors, and foster a culture of accountability.
• Coordination: Collaborate with drilling, maintenance, engineering, and logistics departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs, analyze production data, and implement corrective actions to maximize efficiency.
• Emergency Response: Provide leadership during offshore incidents, ensuring rapid recovery and minimal downtime.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Report production performance to senior management and liaise with regulators, partners, and contractors.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience: 12–15 years in offshore oil & gas/LNG production, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong expertise in offshore production systems, LNG processes, and asset management.
• Certifications: Offshore survival training (BOSIET/T-BOSIET, HUET), H2S awareness, and advanced leadership training.
• Skills: Strategic leadership, operational management, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making under pressure.
