Job Description: Logistics Coordinator (Offshore Oil & Gas LNG)

Position Overview

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the movement of personnel, equipment, and materials to and from offshore oil, gas, and LNG production facilities. This role ensures efficient supply chain operations, compliance with safety standards, and timely support for offshore production activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Transportation Management: Coordinate helicopter and vessel schedules for crew changes, cargo deliveries, and emergency evacuations.
• Material Handling: Oversee the shipment, storage, and distribution of equipment, spare parts, and consumables.
• Supply Chain Coordination: Liaise with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely procurement and delivery.
• Documentation & Compliance: Prepare shipping documents, customs clearance, and ensure compliance with international trade and offshore regulations.
• Inventory Control: Monitor offshore stock levels, track usage, and arrange replenishment to avoid shortages.
• Safety & HSE Compliance: Ensure logistics operations adhere to offshore safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Communication: Act as the central point of contact between offshore teams, onshore bases, and third-party logistics providers.
• Emergency Response Support: Assist in mobilization of resources during offshore incidents or urgent operational needs.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience: 5+ years in logistics coordination, preferably in offshore oil & gas or LNG operations.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with offshore transport systems, customs regulations, and supply chain management software.
• Certifications: Offshore survival training (BOSIET/T-BOSIET, HUET), H2S awareness, and logistics-related certifications preferred.
• Skills: Strong organizational ability, problem-solving, communication, and multitasking under pressure.
