Primary Job Responsibilities

• Mechanical technicians are tasked with several critical responsibilities that ensure the
  smooth functioning of mechanical systems.
• Must: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of machinery and equipment to
  ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and diagnose problems in machinery and related
  systems.
• Repair or replace worn or malfunctioning parts and equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical manuals.
• Collaborate with other technical staff to ensure the coordination of other services such as electrical and structural engineering.
• Adhere to safety standards and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Document maintenance and repair work, creating detailed reports on interventions
  and outcomes.
• Key Tasks and Duties: The daily tasks and duties of mechanical technicians involve a blend of technical skills and analytical abilities.
• These include:Setting up and calibrating new equipment following manufacturer guidelines and
  industry standards.
• Implementing preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and extend the
  lifespan of machinery.
• Using specialized tools and equipment for mechanical system adjustments.
• Providing support and guidance to junior technicians and other ancillary staff.
• Participating in training and workshops to stay updated with the latest technological
  advancements relevant to their field.
