A Landscape Foreman in oil and gas industrial company oversees the planning, execution, and maintenance of outdoor environments around industrial facilities, ensuring safety, aesthetics, and environmental compliance.

Job Purpose:

• To supervise and execute landscaping operations in industrial environments, ensuring that green spaces, erosion control systems, and outdoor infrastructure are maintained to high safety and aesthetic standards.
• This role supports environmental compliance, site beautification, and worker well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Supervision & Execution.
• Lead a team of landscape technicians and laborers in daily operations.
• Interpret landscape drawings and execute planting, irrigation, paving, and grading plans.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of landscaping tools and machinery.
• Industrial Compliance.
• Coordinate with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) teams to ensure landscaping activities comply with oil & gas safety protocols.
• Implement erosion control, dust suppression, and stormwater management measures.
• Maintenance & Upkeep.
• Oversee routine maintenance of lawns, trees, irrigation systems, and hardscape features.
• Monitor plant health and apply fertilizers, pesticides, or pruning as needed.
• Logistics & Reporting.
• Manage material inventory (soil, gravel, plants, etc.) and request supplies as needed.
• Maintain daily work logs, safety checklists, and progress reports.
• Team Leadership
• Train and mentor junior staff on safe landscaping practices.
• Coordinate schedules, assign tasks, and ensure timely project delivery.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: 5+ years in landscaping, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role; prior experience in industrial or oil/gas environments preferred.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of irrigation systems, native plant species, soil stabilization, and landscape machinery.
• Certifications: HSE or OSHA certification is a strong advantage.
• Soft Skills: Leadership, time management, problem-solving, and communication.

Preferred Attributes:

• Familiarity with desert landscaping and water-efficient design.
• Ability to read technical drawings and landscape blueprints.
• Experience coordinating with civil, electrical, and HSE departments on shared work zones.
