Job Purpose:

As a senior Process Engineer undertakes work requiring a degree of independent judgement using technical problem solving techniques, monitoring and analysis.

Job Summary:

• Senior Process Engineer familiar with more complex issues, involving a range of standard technical problem solving techniques and computational methods.
• Provides professional technical advice, guidance and support as a member of operational and project teams.
• Coordinates technical activities across different functional or site areas
  guided by relevant internal subject matter experts.

Education

Bachelors Degree in a relevant discipline

Experience

8 years experience with Degree or 12 years experience with Diploma is desirable

Certifications

Chartered/Professional Engineer

Job Responsibilities
1. Promotes high HSE standards and seeks to ensure a healthy, safe work environment and working practices at all times
2. Devises new approaches and draw conclusions from similar situations through sound and critical evaluation and problem solving.
3. Promotes a reliability based approach to drive down equipment lifecycle costs and minimise breakdown maintenance in their area
4. Validates more complex internal and 3rd party Electrical design work for conformance with established standards and procedures.
5. Collaborates with vendors, engineering teams and stake holders in relation to assigned engineering activities and projects
6. Analyses and validates process data and recommends changes to optimize operations, providing proposed engineering plans.
7. Provides coaching and guidance to junior engineers to support development of technical expertise within the company.

8. Works independently and guides others on tasks requiring broader and deeper engineering knowhow to achieve defined deliverables
9. Participates in development and modification of engineering methods, tools processes and standards and the legislative impact.
