Position Overview

a Structural Construction Foreman to oversee steel fabrication, erection, and assembly activities on industrial and oil & gas sites across Qatar. The foreman will manage daily operations, supervise teams, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity on structural works.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate structural steel fabrication and erection activities
• Interpret engineering drawings and ensure accurate implementation on-site
• Allocate manpower, tools, and materials efficiently to meet project timelines
• Monitor welding, bolting, and fitting of beams, columns, platforms, and pipe supports
• Conduct safety briefings and enforce compliance with HSE standards
• Inspect completed work for alignment, dimensions, and quality control
• Report progress and issues to site engineers and project managers
• Train and mentor junior fabricators and welders

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 5–8 years experience in structural construction, including foreman-level supervision
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication, welding techniques (SMAW, FCAW), and rigging
• Ability to read and interpret structural and isometric drawings
• Familiarity with Qatar Construction Standards (QCS) and oil & gas protocols
• Proficient in team leadership, time management, and safety enforcement
• English proficiency required; Arabic or Bahasa Indonesia is a plus
