Job Title: Coating Coordinator – Offshore Oil & Gas LNG Production

General Requirements (All Positions)
- Mandatory offshore experience
- High school diploma for non-senior roles
- Job-specific vocational training for non-senior positions
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering for senior and leadership roles
- Ability to work in a high-risk offshore environment
- Strong safety awareness and compliance with operational procedures

Core Offshore Certificates
- OGUK/OEUK Medical Certificate
- Confirms you are medically fit to work offshore.
- Issued by OEUK-approved doctors.
- Typically valid for 2 years.
- BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training)
- Essential safety training for all offshore personnel.
- Covers firefighting, sea survival, first aid, and emergency response.
- Must include CA-EBS (Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System).
- Valid for 4 years.
- FOET (Further Offshore Emergency Training)
- Refresher course for those whose BOSIET is expiring.
- Valid for 4 years.
- HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training)
- Mandatory if traveling offshore by helicopter.
- Teaches escape techniques in case of ditching/crash landing.
- Often bundled with BOSIET.
Project Scope:
- Project Name: Offshore Compression Project
- Work Location: Offshore Qatar
Key Responsibilities
- Project Oversight: Coordinate all coating and painting activities across offshore platforms, jackets, pipelines, and subsea structures.
- Technical Supervision: Ensure surface preparation, coating application, and curing processes meet project specifications, international standards (ISO, NACE, SSPC), and client requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections, verify DFT (Dry Film Thickness), adhesion tests, and monitor environmental conditions (humidity, temperature, dew point) before and during application.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed coating logs, inspection reports, and NCRs. Submit daily progress updates to QA/QC and construction teams.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce HSE protocols during coating operations. Ensure all contractors and applicators follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
- Team Coordination: Liaise with painting contractors, offshore supervisors, and third-party inspectors to ensure smooth execution and timely completion.
Qualifications & Experience
