Reports To: Contracts Manager / Commercial Manager

Contract Scheme: Direct hire employment

Duty Cycle: 28 days on – 28 days off

Nationality: Applicable for: Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Myanmar and South Africa Countries

Health Condition: Fit to work and maximum age 45 years old

Job Description

The Contract Administrator / Analyst is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of contracts that support offshore oil, gas, and LNG production projects. This role ensures that all agreements are legally sound, commercially viable, and compliant with corporate, technical, and HSE (Health, Safety, Environment & Quality) standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Development & Tendering
    • Draft, review, and issue tender documents for services, equipment, and offshore operations.
    • Coordinate bid evaluation, vendor selection, and contract award processes.
    • Ensure contracts reflect financial, technical, commercial, and HSE&Q requirements.
  • Negotiation & Execution
    • Support negotiations with contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
    • Secure internal approvals and ensure compliance with corporate governance.
    • Finalize agreements that balance cost efficiency with operational excellence.
  • Contract Administration & Compliance
    • Monitor contractor performance against KPIs and contractual obligations.
    • Manage amendments, variations, and change requests.
    • Ensure compliance with international oil & gas regulations and company policies.
  • Post-Award Management
    • Facilitate smooth handover of contracts to operations teams.
    • Track deliverables, timelines, and financial commitments.
    • Handle claims, disputes, and resolution processes.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of oil & gas/LNG industry standards and offshore operations.
  • Expertise in contract law, procurement, and risk management.
  • Analytical skills for cost control, KPI tracking, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills in multicultural environments.
  • Ability to work under pressure in complex offshore project settings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Professional certification in Contracts Management or Procurement (preferred).
  • 5–8 years of experience in contract administration within oil & gas/LNG projects.
  • Familiarity with offshore production systems (FPSO, LNG terminals, drilling rigs).

Core Offshore Certificates

  • OGUK/OEUK Medical Certificate
    • Confirms you are medically fit to work offshore.
    • Issued by OEUK-approved doctors.
    • Typically valid for 2 years.
  • BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training)
    • Essential safety training for all offshore personnel.
    • Covers firefighting, sea survival, first aid, and emergency response.
    • Must include CA-EBS (Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System).
    • Valid for 4 years.
  • FOET (Further Offshore Emergency Training)
    • Refresher course for those whose BOSIET is expiring.
    • Valid for 4 years.
  • HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training)
    • Mandatory if traveling offshore by helicopter.
    • Teaches escape techniques in case of ditching/crash landing.
    • Often bundled with BOSIET.
