Position Overview

The Production Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating offshore production operations in oil, gas, and LNG facilities. This role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant production activities while supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence in a high-risk offshore environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Planning: Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet targets and optimize output.
• Operations Oversight: Monitor offshore production processes, ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Resource Coordination: Manage allocation of personnel, equipment, and materials to support production activities.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with offshore safety regulations, company policies, and international standards (HSE, ISO).
• Reporting: Prepare production reports, performance metrics, and incident documentation for management review.
• Communication: Act as liaison between offshore teams, onshore management, and contractors to ensure smooth operations.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
• Emergency Response Support: Assist in coordinating emergency procedures and ensure readiness of offshore teams.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Petroleum, Chemical, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: 5+ years in offshore oil & gas or LNG production operations, with coordination or supervisory responsibilities.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of offshore production systems, LNG processes, and safety protocols.
• Leadership: Ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams in challenging offshore environments.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for reporting and team coordination.
• Certifications: Offshore survival training (BOSIET/T-BOSIET), HSE certifications, and LNG-specific training preferred.
