Job Description

Position: Production Coordinator – Offshore Oil & Gas LNG Production

Location: Offshore LNG Facility (FPSO / FLNG / Fixed Platform)

Reports To: Offshore Production Supervisor / Operations Manager

Role Overview

The Production Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring LNG production activities on offshore facilities. This role ensures that production targets are met safely, efficiently, and in compliance with HSE and regulatory standards. The coordinator acts as the link between operations, maintenance, logistics, and management teams to optimize offshore LNG production.

• High school diploma for non-senior roles

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering for senior and leadership roles
• Ability to work in a high-risk offshore environment
• Strong safety awareness and compliance with operational procedures

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production activities across LNG processing units (gas treatment, liquefaction, storage, and loading).
• Monitor production schedules and align operations with planned targets.
• Liaise with field operators, panel operators, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Prepare daily production reports, shift handovers, and performance summaries.
• Support Permit to Work (PTW) and isolation procedures for maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and LNG-specific safety protocols.
• Participate in emergency response planning and drills.
• Track production KPIs and recommend process improvements.
• Communicate with logistics teams for LNG loading and shipment coordination.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior staff in production operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma/Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering (or equivalent technical discipline).
• Minimum 5–8 years offshore oil & gas experience, with at least 3 years in LNG production coordination.
• Strong knowledge of LNG processes and cryogenic safety.
• Certified in BOSIET, HUET, H2S Awareness, and Advanced Firefighting.
• Familiarity with SCADA/DCS systems and production monitoring tools.
• Experience in cross-functional coordination and reporting.
